"Lovely site, friendly staff, right on the Coast to Coast Path

Really friendly site. Advertised as wild and is basic in terms of facilities but having said that there were some great extras such as the barn with its microwave, kettle etc.
For anyone doing the coast to coast its a great place to stay, right on the pathway of the walk. For non coast to coast walkers it is a beautiful area with some great walks right from the camp site.
Definitely recommend it.."

"Perfect spot for single night stopover

Our pitch was in the small fenced area called Tommy's Garth. The pitch was immaculate and it was easy to pitch the tent. The area included a solid picnic bench for our use. Fabulous views of local scenery. Owners were very helpful, and had sent good instructions prior to our stay.

We both lost mobile phone signals but that may simply have been to do with our providers. We arrived by car using SATNAV which worked well, though it did initially try and take us to the farm via a gated road (which might have worked), but we weren't brave enough to continue that way.

We would also recommend a visit to their Summerhouse Honesty Cafe before leaving.
